Hey, my name is Sam and I am here on flickr to learn and share info about this thing called photography. Did you know that the word "Photography" was first used in 1839 and it is derived from the Greek words photos ("light") and graphein ("to draw"), so basically, it is to draw with light.

Most of my images you will see have been processing in one form or another, but I have created a Set called "Direct from Camera" which are, well, direct from the camera, so no processing what so ever. I know these images may look dull and flat compared to the plethora of pixel perfect images out there but that is beside the point. I really want to improve as a photographer and I believe this is done behind the camera and not behind a desk, so I would encourage you to take a look and I would really appreciate your feedback.
