  Jonathan's set of 375 photos of Malta found me scratching my head for a while. Here's this guy on a company trip to Malta, passing through 5 airports and then he posts a photo of his flight ticket? Of his minibar? But I soon got the idea: his photos reveal what caught his eye, without editing. Very much like how you see a place yourself. I realised how this has its charms. He tries to photograph the gigantic palaces and convents in Mdina and you can see that he doesn't manage it. But that's precisely right: you can't even see these buildings as a whole yourself, because of the narrow, winding streets, let alone that you can capture them in a single shot. But Jonathan manages to convey exactly the majesty of this medieval town. Similarly, a picture of just a street, with an ordinary car. What's that all about? It's what you get to see. Great things, and humdrum things. So true to the real thing. Thanks Jonathan!"
