With that, here is all the old profile info.

Bio:
I am a hard of hearing/D/deaf - Stay at home, Single Mom of five boys, six if you include one I took in ;)
My oldest is married and has recently retired from the United States Army, and my 3rd child just enlisted in the United States Air Force.. So I guess you could say I am a Proud Military Mom and Supporter of our Troops. My first grandchild was born in May 2008 and my second one was born in 2009.


The History:
April 2007 my partner killed himself, shortly after I purchased a Canon PowerShot A560. Having no clue as to what I was getting into, in September 2007 I switched over to using a Nikon D40 and it has been uphill. I enjoy photographing wildlife, nature/animals, landscapes, still arts and portraits (candid and posed). I am still learning.
updated: summer of 2008 - real life got in the way of things and the Nikon had to be sold, but am looking forward to owning another sometime in 2009. ;)

Much of the work here is dedicated to my good friend ~ JBA, since he was always trying to get me out of the house more often.

The 365 images and my side kick (Gallagher) are dedicated to my online friends who have supported me not only in the recent months, but they have become part of my family over the last 6 or so years of blogging and suggested I go have fun with it. :)
