I'm in my early twenties and am trying to get serious about my little passion for photography. So far, all I've really used is two different SonyEricsson cameraphones, the w810i and more recently the w580i. Both have been pretty good at being able to capture little moments in my life with my friends, but aren't really meant for more serious photography. I plan on getting a new camera as soon as I can jusify the cost, but I'll still be able to have my phone with me everywhere, so I don't plan on dropping my use of it anytime soon. I think getting a good shot with something so simple is a bit of extra challenge, and I like challenges.

I've just bought a new camera! It's not a DSLR like I would have liked, but I think it's a good start. It's a Canon PowerShot SD850 IS and I quickly went out and took some shots of my hometown to try it out!

Until Flickr updates its Creative Commons licensing feature to 3.0, here is a link to an updated version of the license I use with my photos. This supersedes any licenses displayed on the individual photos!
