South African Biodiversity aims to inform, share knowledge and bridge the gap between the a) public, b) Biodiversity and Environmentalist Professionals, c) Commercial Companies and d) Government through online technology, conferences and publications.


The concept was inspired from the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 Act No. 107, 1998: 2.4.h) “Community wellbeing and empowerment must be promoted through environmental education, the raising of environmental awareness, the sharing of knowledge and experience and other appropriate means.”
