WeCount!'s photostream

WeCount! was initiated as a program of WeCare of South Dade, a coalition of social service providers, in 2002, and became an independent organization in spring 2006.

WeCount!’s members are Latino/a and Mayan immigrant workers and working families, Haitian immigrant workers and working families, and youth. Our members work in plant nurseries and farms, landscaping, construction, tourism and housekeeping, and industrial shops, and are retirees. They include families and recent immigrants separated from their families in their home countries.
