The Susquehanna Greenway Partnership is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and sustaining the Susquehanna Greenway.
The Susquehanna Greenway Partnership is a leading champion for the Susquehanna River Watershed, Pennsylvania's most important natural asset and the largest tributary to the Chesapeake Bay. We advocate for public and private efforts to connect people with our natural and cultural resources, and promote a sustainable and healthy environment
The Susquehanna Greenway is a planned corridor of green infrastructure composed of an interconnected system of: conservation areas, trails, parks, river access points, riparian buffers, and pathways linking the Susquehanna River and its West Branch with cities, towns, rural areas, conserved natural lands and forests in Pennsylvania.
It will be nearly 500 miles in length, making it Pennsylvania’s largest greenway. It will provide a green corridor along Pennsylvania’s longest river that contributes nearly half of the fresh water entering the Chesapeake Bay.
