Im 22, Irish, and working as a designer in Germany. I am quite fond of my nikon d90 and am captivated by documentary and travel photography. I am often feeling the intense urge to capture the world, and possibly hoping to entertain a few people in the process.

Desmond Kavanagh's photos are a just that little bit out of the ordinary, not so many cutie pets or sugary sweet scenes to be found here. But certainly a photographer with something more serious to say through his creative composition, strong lighting with full saturation, beautiful tonal ranges and punchy contrast.
Desmond's artistic talents are not confined to the one medium, but he shows equal skill with either monochrome or colour and appears happy in using both mediums to create his works.
