ME (yawn):

I'm just a regular guy trying to take photos I like.

I try not to repeatedly shoot the same subject or location. So, you won't see 500 photos of a dog, cat or rose.

I'm a California credentialed teacher of 3rd grade who no longer teaches. I formerly designed and guided personal, custom tours in the US for individuals, couples, small groups of friends and families.

If you really like to take photos and want to retain my services, I can put together and guide you on a photography tour designed around your interests.

If you might want to have me photograph you, please take a look at several of my sets of previous model shoots to see if my images are the type you want. No one I have photographed has modeled before so "no experience" is just fine with me. If still interested, email me at jeffreyalowe@gmail.com.

If we do a shoot, expect that we would spend a good bit of time together getting to locations and shooting. Depending on your interests, clothers/accesories, and locales you prefer, the day of your shoot might be pretty full but it will be fun and relaxed. Being yourself is exactly what I prefer though you can feel free to play act too.

If you are flaky, haven't learned how to be on-time or follow-through, have a diva attitude or you're not ready to make your photo session a high priority, don't waste my time.

I prefer easy-going, genuine people without pretense or big egos who like to help others. I like folks with a bit of humility, tolerance and a sense of humor who don't take themselves too seriously. I prefer not to engage with self-centered people into control and power who whine and pout.

I love nature but don't get into her often since I live in the dense urban jungle of Los Angeles. I love driving deserted backroads exploring what lies around the next bend but I don't get to do that as often as I would like.

All my photographs are fully copyrighted and protected and are "ALL RIGHTS RESERVED". None of my photographs can be used in any way unless you get my permission FIRST...this includes but is not limited to blogs, textbooks or other books, magazines (print or web), or any retail, wholesale, corporate, training, educational use either for profit or non-profit purposes. Really, just ask first, I've often said yes to requests. Or, we can likely work something out.

If you want to retain me to shoot a particular subject or project, contact me and we can talk through your ideas.

If you want to fund in some way, my photo travels, please contact me.. I am always eager to hit the road in my mini van in search of beautiful shots or the perfect location for a model shoot.
