I am a Newcastle (Australia) based freelance photographer.

I shoot all sorts of things but live bands is my main love. The challenge of low light and fast moving members helps to keep you on your toes. Throw away the 'rules' of photography when working live beacuse if you get caught up on your settings too much you miss the shot. Every gig I shoot I learn something new.

I am branching out into landscapes now as I have really found the serenity that comes with the patience required to wait for the perfect shot. Its a very stark contrast to the pace of live music and brings a whole new level of enjoyment to my photography.

If I could, I would have my camera implanted somewhere as I hate to leave it behind. I feel naked without it. Maybe one day I might have it replace an eye and insert the memory card in my ear.

Seeing the world one exposure at a time really helps you to appreciate the small things.
