  "I embarked on this photography adventure back in June 2008 on Digital SLR Magazine's webpage and had some ideas on what I wanted to do with my work.
  
  After seeing countless nice photographs over a months period things weren't as exciting as I thought until the absolute moment I laid my eyes on Dave Constable's work -- WOW was completely blown away and my path re routed on the spot; the moment was powerful seeing someone’s vision fully realized and translated in an awesome fashion.
  
  Dave Constable in my opinion is a driving force for excellence and innovation in Digital Photography, embracing the computer and technologies such as HDR to harness his vision and render them for eyes to enjoy!
  
  Dave's work is always a stunning piece of art and like reaching tentacles penetrates a broad audience base in which some might not even appreciate such technologies as HDR but are powerless to resist his amazing vision he has captured for us.
  
  Yes I am a Dave Constable "junkie" following him to FLICKR only to see a large number of testimonials outlining how Dave has inspired them also, giving back to the community in the various ways he does making Dave an easy choice to admire and strive to reach the heights and successes he continues to accomplish.
  
  We may never personally reach the heights Dave has, but that is irrelevant as Dave does what inspirational people do – provide us with stunning work we can study and drool over incorporating some of the things we see Dave do which can only further our own adventure in this art.

  "There are a few people I wish to write testimonials about, and David Constable is certainly one of the first I think about to do so. I, like a number of others before me, was inspired by David's ability to make HDR images which presented true photographic integrity - fantastic composition, shots with interest and balance and most importantly (in HDR) a sense of realism. This sense of conveying this realistic view to the world was inate in Dave's work almost from the start.
  
  His work inspired me to look at HDR in a more positive manner, for much of the work I had seen previously showed haloing, unsightly colour casts and a lack of any attention to detail in the processing phases. None of this applies to Dave's work - he is truly a master of the genre.
  
  Another aspect of Dave's work which I admire, is his ability to look into an environment and find interest in things which often pass us by, or are so taken for granted that they become invisible to many of us.
  
  I urge anybody who has not looked carefully through his gallery to do so, for it is full of wondrous images. Hopefully it will inspire you, as it did me."

His comments and photographs have inspired me to do better, to try new techniques and learn to be as good a photographer as I can be. His seascapes and shoreline work is frankly the best I've ever seen. He dabbled in a series of WWII photo's that truly opened my eyes to the colorless world of war.   Oh yeah and he is a damned good photographer too..but I always think photography is only 10% camera skill, the 90% is who you really are because each image we take contains a little (or a lot) of us. So Dave’s work is full of passion, intrigue, skill and he is never intrusive with his work and he really knows how to compose a shot..
