  "Mel is a fantastic person to take such beautiful everyday life captures of her three lovely girls and beautiful son. They will make you smile and laugh and bring you right into their lives.
  
  She will surprise you with some fun games and every now and then a fabulous fashion show, starring her three wonderful girls. You will also see the adventures of little Issac who will always "bring" you along for a fun journey.
  
  Mel also has a genuine interest in learning more about photography and her avid support for the Flickr community is plainly evident. Always commenting on what she sees as interesting and beautiful.
  
  She is also a fantastic mom as she has taken it upon herself to home school her children. It takes patience and dedication to do this, I know, I have just one student of my own and it isn’t always easy!
  
  For all this and much more, I was compelled to write something about this wonderful person that her friends call Mel.
  For me to learn something from her dedication to family is at the very core of my admiration to say nothing of her ever growing talent behind the lens.

  "Where to begin? Melisse, hereafter called simply Mel, has taken some of my most favorite photos, or posted them (in reference here to the most lovely self-portrait of one Stevie). Her body of work is superb yet it doesn't stop with photos. Adore the family she is raising and sharing. Ahh that's the word that perhaps best embodies why I am writing ... sharing.
  
  Mel not only shares her family with anyone who visits her stream, she shares her time with you by commenting on what is happening in each photo as well as on your photos with such pleasantries as anyone could ever hope for. Too modest for her own good on the great job she does behind the camera, she is never one to hold back praise on other's photos. What I am trying to say is she is not only sharing photos; she is sharing life. Hers, her family's, and her love of it with anyone who takes the time to say hi.
  
  My motivation behind writing this? All Mel. Well ok Mel and Stevie and Maxie and Zoe and even little Issac. They are sharers, not takers. While we can't pick our family we can pick families to be friends with and it is with great pleasure we share friendship with this family. And thanks too to the man we never see.
  
  If you are reading this before viewing the stream, prepare yourself to understand the meaning of love of family afterwards. If you already know Mel, you already know all of the above."
