imægo the ill iterator says:
"You may like him or you may not, but you cannot deny two things:
- he has one of the best finely tuned sensibilities about light and colour you can find in flickr
- he has one of the most coherent standards you can find in flickr"16th August, 2011

Spartacus_ says:
"As the legend of eyebex continues to grow, sometimes it's hard to look past the fame, the fortune, and found out more about the man himself. Who is he? What drives him?
Eyebex was born in a small shack in a small village near a small city in a small country. While his life might have started small, he quickly turned into the proverbial big fish in a small pond, and he soon left behind his humble beginning to to move to the metropolis that is Whitehorse, Yukon. Often seen shooting Kolya and other dogs in the Ibex Valley and points further, this modern-day Da Vinci is no one-trick pony. From his vivid landscapes to his documentation of suburban Whitehorse, from his tasty condiment photography to his carefully honed portraits, Sir eyebex has certainly earned his photography merit badge.
As an universally-known technologist, The Honorable Mr. Eyebex is a member of nearly every stock photo website known to man. As a prolific Clustershotter, Flickrer, Gettyite and more, he has become so well-known that in many circles he, like Madonna and Pele before him, is known by a single name: eyebex.
As we head into the 2nd second decade of the 3rd millennium, many have asked who are our leaders? What people are important to the nation's progress, the world's progress? While some may hem & haw, and others quickly list a few revered names, all these lists invariably have one name in common: eyebex.
So the next time you need advice on the best deals at snowshoe markets, or want to find good places to walk your dog in the Yukon, or need to find the perfect recipe, you'll only need to contact one person."28th October, 2010

"Eyebex (or eyebarf or eyebags to his friends) has a wonderful rich photostream that one can get lost in. He's got a lot of talent for someone who's only human contact is his dog for months at a time.. you'd think he'd be maladjusted or something. I'd share a beer with eyebats in a second."

jakerome says:
"eyebex is either the luckiest dog photographer alive to have such a great subject, or K is the luckiest dog alive to have such a great photographer. Either way, eyebex photographs K as well as any man has ever captured man's best friend. Oh, and his landscapes are splendid too. And pretty much the rest of his stuff."

"I just discovered .eyebex had a lovely girlfriend and that he took beautiful pictures of her. Although I've known for some time, now, that he's one helluva good moutains landscape photographer. Or something like that."

".eyebex's skills as a landscape photographer are very high. I'm envious of his ability to spot the perfect composition and to tell a story in just one frame. All that and he's got a cool dog, too."

"Eyebex has an eye for capturing not only the grandeur of his surroundings, but also the small details that make up life. His landscapes are not just pristine wilderness, but they often also record our presence within it.
While I often envy the beautiful scenery that he lives in, I respect the fact that he can find the willpower to go out and take his beautiful, expansive landscape pictures while most of us would be huddling inside with a bottle of rye."9th November, 2007

"Eyebex put the "I" into idiotic, irritating and ironic. And the "Becks" into beer. Or something."

"It's always good to see eyebex's masterfully executed pictures of healthy beings, majestic landscapes and log cabins. In fact his photography is so huge that I suspect him to own special lenses that focus beyond infinity."

"I write a damn nice testimonial about you being the pornographic Canadian brother of Ansel Adams only to realize another testimonial already relates you to Ansel Adams.
So now you get that above rant."21st July, 2007

"Like the polar bears he wrestles, Eyebex poops in the woods in all sorts of horrible weather. That rugged individualism and utter insanity is evident in his maessively awesome photostream."

"Over the past (TIME PERIOD) I have come to regard (USERNAME) not so much as a friend, but more as someone I've never met. He/she* (Delete as applicable) is a true and trusted e-cquaintance."

"Eyebex takes picture which - whilst traditional on some levels - scream out to you from the thumbnail "I'm an Eyebex! I'm an Eyebex!" - I haven't figured out what it is he does, but whatever it is is INSTANTLY recognisable as his - he has found his voice and there is no higher praise."

"He used to be my neighbor, but he moved to far away Canada.

'SeraphimC says:
"He's a combination of Kit Carson and Ansel Adams, except he lives in Northern Canada.
If you look at his photos and are not moved by the grandeur of his landscapes, the playfulness of his dog photos, or the beauty of his slice of life stills then you have a heart of stone and the eyes of a mole."8th June, 2007
-
Husk and Sack says:
"Ignore the modesty on his profile and take a gander at his stream, where you will find breath taking scenics and wonderful "slice of life" street scenes. A modest and insightful photographer with a sharp wit who is always looking to improve his skills.
Truly a man of all seasons despite living in a land with one."4th June, 2007

he played around with a film Rebel good 10-12 years ago. Then he dropped it and it broke. That was a great excuse to stop blowing his money on crappy photographs.
In January 2007 he bought a digital Rebel XTi and now it costs him nothing to make crappy photographs."6th April, 2007
