I'm a GRANDMA in love! AVA GRACE was born on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 1:08 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. 14 oz. ~ sweet, precious, adorable, and beautiful as her name (with my middle name *gg*)! She's a tiny queen of hearts, and great JOY of GLAMMY Grammy and GRUMPY Grampy!

It is 37 YEARS I have been married (November 22nd!), and both my husband and I LOVE the ocean! My relationship with HE WHO was, WHO is, and WHO is to come is most important of anything in the world to me, as are all my dear family and friends. I LOVE everything Mexican, to travel by train and by plane, tea parties, bubble baths, cooking to entertain, and writing (poetry, and someday a book I have started). My hobbies include sewing, cross-stitching, redwork embroidery, felt crafting, my own online project Quilts for Queridas, Operation Christmas Child, reading (biographies especially), painting, card making, and thanks to my daughter, Bethany ~ scrapbooking, as you will see by the FAVORITES I save... somewhat of a personal journal for me (of current events, and of who and what I am remembering, or thinking of, creating, or dreaming about - the photos will go a long way to helping me remember special thoughts and moments)! *SMILE* and THANKS!

En el enero de 2000, fui a México Chiapas, por un viaje de misión a huérfanos, y allí, me caí tanto enamorado de la gente, la lengua, que hice algunos amigas españoles en línea, quién entonces me invitó a su grupos español de Yahoo. ¡No digo su lengua, pero un traductor me deja comunicarse a usted! jejeje Nada se ha cambiado sobre mi pasión, pero mi salud es muy mala. Ahora tengo un estrechamiento de mi válvula aórtica, y sin la cirugía de corazón, mi vida es acortada. Tengo una fe grande en Dios Que es mi Creador, entonces dejo mi vida en maravillosas Manos de El Señor. En mi enfermedad pasé mucho tiempo para renovar mi interés otra vez a bordador, engranando a veces con el bordados en serie, también. Yo tenía 17 años cuando me enseñé este trabajo de mano hermoso. Pienso en ello como una forma de arte. Yo también como hacer el bordado rojo, pintura, scrapbooking (?), y reunir de calidoscopios, tarjetas de postales, tazas de té de loza y platillos, viejo libro de niños (para sus ilustraciones). El sonido más agradable en la tierra a mí es HOLA de amigas, LE AMO de mi familia, y la risa de niños. ¡Mi único nieta es mi gran alegría! ¡Vengo a menudo para leer los mensajes, si no siempre para escribir debido a mi salud, pero SIEMPRE usted está en mi corazón ~ NUNCA OLVIDE!

I am just a permanently disabled old lady who has enjoyed Flickr photographs so much in the FIVE YEARS I have been here as a means of seeing the world I can no longer travel and physically participate in. I am SO HAPPY for a year of PRO ACCOUNT which allows my friends and visitors to my photostream to see some of my photos over the standard limit that you could not otherwise see... THANK YOU CAPTAIN TENNEAL for this most wonderful gift to make more "agate mosaics!" The favourites I use to create Flickr mosaics I am always careful to say are the sole property of their Flickr owners, not mine, and leave links to each page. Very grateful, I want to say a personal THANKS, from the depths of my heart, to all the wonderful photographers who give their permission to let this crippled body have a little creative fun using FLICKR toys to make MYSELF the collages I do (a bonus treat is when others comment how much they enjoy them, too); more often than not, my days of pain do not let me do other than save favourites ~ I promise you, I am a kind and giving person... NO collector ~ except of paper dolls, Barbie dolls, kaleidoscopes, postcards, and antique children's books (for their beautiful illustrations) . Oh, I do LOVE the sound of children's laughter, the nicest in the world! THANK YOU VERY MUCH to my dear online Dutch friend, Yvonne, who introduced me to Flickr after her visit to my country of Canada!
