Lu Colombo is an italian songwriter producer and singer. She had her moment of success in the eigthties singing dance songs like “Maracaibo” “ and “Dance all nite” that are evergreen hits. After a long break, in 2000 she produced some remake of her old songs and in 2002 a new album L’uovo di Colombo.In 2006 she partecipated as a singer in a music project, involved in fund raising for Africa (Lupai). The songs of the new album “Molto piu’ di un buon motivo”are translated into italian from the great spanish songwriter Joaquin Sabina.Lu’s rough voice well matches with the deep and intense lyrics of Sabina. Lu went to Camargue for the gitan folk festival where she made the new video.
