As for me ....

I try not to waste my time shooting pictures that do not challenge my skills with a camera. I like to challenge compositional theories like 'rule of thirds' which leave me cold - Fibonacci and the Golden ratio are more relevant to the world seen by the human eye. I love experimenting - I have no overriding passion except for the creative process.

I no longer see collecting hits as a driver for my continued Flickr presence so please don't invite me to award groups. I prefer to keep my contact list small, friendly and personal.

Outside of Photography....

If I'm brutally honest I know too much about desktop computers for it to be healthy. I still listen to vinyl records through a valve amplifier that keeps the house warm in winter although I'm no longer evangelical about the merits of vinyl records - digital has come on leaps and bounds and I love 24 bit digital music.

I own a guitar, a bass guitar and a hammer dulcimer but my skills and ability don't match the depth of my pockets.

I try not to use my car unless necessary preferring my Ezee Electric bike for commuting around town. Even so, I still don't get enough exercise.
