I am a native New Yorker who took a big leap, both literally and figuratively: in November '09, I moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, to live with my fiance...who is now my husband! I met him on Flickr (!!!) ; side note, I was interviewed about the whole thing on BBC Radio. True story!

I'm a mental health professional who has worked in schools, hospitals, and jails, and thus I never run out of stories at parties.

This profile may be short, but I'm a bit of an open book...just check out my photos and you will see...

If you care about this sort of thing, all the digital photos before spring of 2009 were shot with the now-discontinued Kodak EasyShare Z730 (except for a very few that I took with other peoples' cameras and later uploaded). April 2009 is a mishmosh of the Kodak and my new Canon G-10, and then everything digital after that is G-10.

I didn't have a digital camera before 2006, so anything older than that was shot on film and scanned in. The cameras included a Yashica T4 automatic, a Quadcam for lomography, and a Pentax K-1000 SLR (with a few different lenses) that I haven't played with in awhile.

I guess that's about it. Hope you enjoy my photos. :)
