Somewhat of a hermit, by habit rather than intention. Interested in nature, music, history. Follow the news fairly closely, and am politically somewhat left of center. Interested in history, especially European and Asian I mainly like classical music, especially Bach and Beethoven. My main recreation is birding, which often gets me traveling to remote places, often outside from the US. I really like Europe, but also love the American West. Favorite bird is Blue-footed Booby. Saw some close-up in Mexico.

Retired Social Security employee. Now living in Sharon, PA. Lived most of my life until recently in Baltimore, MD. I thought I hated it, but now want to return. I've learned to appreciate big cities a little more as a result of this move!
