"Mym's photography is as understated as his personality is large. The combination is devastating.
Don't ever leave us."17th October, 2006

Martin Beek says:
"I’ve enjoyed Mark’s photography ever since I discovered his work on Flickr. In one sense it was an unnerving experience as so much of his material, both in composition and subject matter, unknowingly duplicated my own working practices. There are many fascinating images here, and for anyone interested in old places, monuments, glass and churches, his site is one that I’d thoroughly recommend. His photographs are of a high quality and bear the hallmarks of the great Canon colour sensitivity , however it takes a good eye for a composition to bring the best out in any camera no matter how good. A few so called professional who continually mention settings and equipment would do well to examine Mark’s work because he shows how it can be done. Mark also tags his work with amusing titles, consequently this makes history a lot of fun for those who may only have a casual interest in these dusty and damp places. I hope many more people will take time to look at these extraordinarily good photographs."

"Mark has done an amazing job cataloguing architectural and artistic oddments around Europe and made me more than once want to be there taking photos too! He's my first Flickr reference for ecclesiastical sculptural detail. Thanks!"

"Mym is one of life's truly annoying people; he has the ability to take stunning photographs, seemingly without effort. Truly talented people annoy me. I have to work my fucking arse off to get a half decent pic, so what right do talented bastards have to rub my nose in it? Eh? Eh?
Mym. I hate you. x"19th January, 2006
