"Selten findet man eine Person die einen bedeutenden Teil ihres künstlerischen Ausdrucks auf so ein enges Thema lenkt wie es "Schwimmen" nun mal ist, ohne sich dabei in einfacher Wiederholung zu ergehen.
Dazu trägt neben ihren immer wieder neue Blickwinkel erschließenden Fotos auch ihr "Schwimmtagebuch" bei.
Es kommt dabei eine Liebe zu einem Element zum Ausdruck, die für Außenstehende verblüffend und manchmal schwer nachvollziehbar ist, die aber immer auch dazu einlädt, sich selbst auf eine Entdeckungsreise zu begebn und es ihr zumindest in Ansätzen gleichzutun.
Aristides Arbeiten sind großartig und verdienen, daß man sich Zeit nimmt um sich auf ihre Sicht einzulassen und vor allem darin einzutauchen."24th July, 2007
