I've been a member since July 2006 and I really enjoy the site, the people and the photographs. The level of many of the photos posted here is inspiring and makes me eager to learn and improve. I use a Sony DSLR A-100 and a Sony CyberShot and after a year on flickr, I see photo opportunities everywhere I look. I don't photograph anything in particular, just whatever catches my eye. I do enjoy macro photography because the world beneath our feet is beautiful and fascinating and a world we don't really see that much of. I enjoy trying for a shot with that "wow" factor but I also just enjoy screwing around and having fun with my picture choices.
