My interest in photography is a revival of a past interest really. Work and family took over and I hadn't used a camera for years. Digital cameras are wonderful.

I started by using my husband's old Olympus, then kept 'borrowing' his Konika Minolta Dynax 5D. Earlier this year I bought a CanonEOS350D that I am slowly getting used to. I have upgraded a while ago to a Canon EOS 40D and am now craving a Canon 5D Mk II with shedloads of L lenses.

I don't think that I could say what are my favourite kinds of photos. I do like conventionally nice pics, but also like the abstract and different ones too. Mostly I like what I like in a pic.

Flickr has been a wonderful way of learning and modifying what I do with the camera, have learnt a lot through using it.

Thanks again for such a great site, and for all the work that people put in looking after the many groups.
