I picked up photography when I was 18. I really wished I could have started earlier. Up till now I'm self-taught, but I do realise the importance of a good mentor. Flickr's my mentor now. :)
Most of my photos are taken on my Canon A610. Some of them I took on on my film SLR (Canon 3000v). I much prefer shooting on the SLR but I find that DSLRs very heavy compared to my film one, thus I'm holding back on buying a DLSR.
