Left-eyed photographer (crossed dominant)
See the whole picture rather than the details.

Don't know anything about photography.
Just take pictures.

Prefer scenes to close shots.
Traditional rather than arty.

Love bricks, old windows, chimney pots,
old postboxes and red telephone boxes

Dislike cars, modern trains,
UPVC doors and window frames,
and naff-coloured painted houses.

MISTY PICS:
Some of my earlier pics look a bit misty,
because I used to have a computer that was much too dark,
and so I was lightening them too much without realising.

CORRECTIONS:
I don't know much about history or architecture, or Oxford,
so please feel free to correct any mistakes I've made
and add additional tags or information.

GEOTAGGING
Where possible, most Oxford photographs have been geotagged according to the aerial views on satellite earth, and this doesn't necessarily correspond with the street map.

Photographs from other places are mainly tagged according to the street map,
which doesn't necessarily correspond with the aerial map.

GLITZY AWARDS:
I'm not obsessed with getting yards of comments or glitzy awards.
So if you want to give me any of these sparkly five-star super-fave things,
thanks very much but I won't be joining.

COMMENTS:
From now on I'm also going to be very unsociable about making and replying to comments, because it simply takes up TOO MUCH TIME, when I could be doing something else,
like taking photographs or tidying my room.

REQUESTS:
I am willing to consider special requests from non-residents
who want to see particular buildings or places in Oxford.

I don't donate my pictures to magazines.
(except perhaps in special circumstances)

But I will consider requests to use my pictures in books.

    Martin-James says:

"Isisbridge has a perceptive eye for a striking image in locations that many would think mundane. An enthusiast for Oxford, her photos depict areas of the town that are not seen by those on the tourist circuit and they serve to remind us that Oxford has a substantial 'non university' presence."
