Carly H. Franklin is principal of BOOST Design + Marketing, a Vancouver-based design and social media marketing studio specializing in corporate identity and branding work. Since founding the studio in 1999, Franklin has worked on a wide range of identity, print, packaging and web projects with clients throughout the US and Canada.

A self-taught designer, Franklin credits the years she spent working in art galleries and custom frame shops as the foundation of her design education. Early in her career, she fell in love with identity design after a chance encounter with a stack of design books at the local public library. Franklin's own work has since been featured in numerous books on graphic design and corporate identity.

Drawing inspiration from the beauty of everyday objects, she hones her design skills through the study and practice of art in many forms, including photography, painting, drawing and bookbinding.

Originally a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she currently lives and works in Vancouver, BC.
