Photography allows me to see the world in a way that most others miss. When I have a camera in my hands I see things in a different light, the smallest things and the largest are new and different to me. I love rich saturated colours and big scenes.

My fascination with photography began when I was 8 or 9 years old with a Kodak Brownie and moved through Pentax and on to Canon cameras. As a friend once pointed out to me in all creative endeavors "It's The Archer, Not The Bow" that counts, the equipment is secondary. The effort, vision, and persistence to create are what make us produce the images. I am amazed at the quality of images I find on Flickr and am driven to improve my work as I see so many other incredible works by so many talented people. This has been an eye opener for me on how I view my creative efforts.
