"A very honest testimonial: Ai pohaku takes unpretentious photos. I see simplicity in her approach. I see photos that grab the complexingly simple facets of life. Some people are able to do it with words; some with paint; some with dance. I see her pictures in the same arena-they're artistic, natural, and wonderful to look at. But, again, the key to her ability, I think, is in her seemingly mundane photos. Then again, her collection doesn't overwhelm you because she takes photos of real people doing every day stuff; these are the ones that add fun to it all.
