I have a profound love of nature. Have had it ever since I was a little kid. Always liked being outside. When I am in a forest, or other place of beauty, I feel whole. Like I was meant to be there.

"Linda has a wonderful eye for beauty in nature and I can always count finding something cool in her stream - quite often it's something that's been shot in an area familiar to me.
I credit Linda with motivating me to discover more about Crabtree Nature Center in Palatine, IL. I'd been driving past the center for more than twenty years but it was some of her terrific shots from there that made me decide I had to check it out. Now it's one of my favorite places to go for a walk with my camera.
Above all else, though, I credit/blame Linda for at least part of my Flickr addiction. It's her terrific comments that often make a bad day a little more tolerable and turn a good day into a great one. I look forward to her comments so much sometimes that I actually shoot stuff that I would otherwise ignore just 'cuz I know she'll like it.
