  Her photos are frank and personal, and entertain on so many levels. Sometimes they allow me to be a voyeur into NYC life. It was through Eva that I first heard of "pandas", 365 days of photos, and probably bokeh. Her photostream is a call to arms for the rights of animals. My favorites pool is filled with her cat images. Her photostream also contains a lot of humor and wit. And mostly they are just top-notch photographs.
  
  Eva is generous with comments. Somehow--between bottlefeeding an orphan kitten and transporting a cat-in-need to another location (even if it has to be by bike)--she gives insightful comments on my photographs. And it's clear from perusing flickr that she does this with a lot of people!
  
  Many of Eva's images are etched in my brain forever. I consider a friend--even though we have never met."

  "Eva has an eye for cats and an eye for the street: she finds and captures a world in every shot of them. She's an urban heart, I would say, although she has photographed lakes and pumpkin fields: she seems to like nature more when she perceives some kind of interaction with the human presence. She has images of deep intimacy as well, like the one with the home-made bread and the white courtain; some are very original, like those with a snapshot of her fetiche cat Smoggy posing with policewomen! As for her cats in general, they're always portrayed with tenderness and a sense of humor; they're protrayed as beautiful beings worth the greatest respect. I enjoy her images very much."
