Gear?!?
For the past 5 years I've been using The Sony DCR-PC330E Digital Video Camera for capturing nightvision shots and visuals for my VJing and cinematography work, I think I took a million of shot on my digi Vidi cam and many people don't realise that my entire early photographic skills came out of a video camera and not from an analog or digital still camera, how bizarre is that?
When I left Europe at mid summer 2008 my friends got me a Nikon D40 which I bitchslap silly with it's Nikon DX 18-55mm lens. I am totally in love and can't wait to make some cash and invest it into pimping my style.
At the start of Spring 2009 I got a Nikon SpeedLight SB-20 and my god it makes me think how I lived without flash?!
A few months ago I decided to take a step closer to the people around me and with the help of a 50mm 1:1.8 lens I am able to show the beauty of them all..
Early 2010 I went to a punk rock concert in down town Montreal and while taking pix in the middle of the mush pit I get smashed and dropped my SB-20, it broke completely, so...what to do what to do?!? I got an SB-600!!! ha ha....now let's see what I can do with that baby!
