    mrgilles says:

"Classy is the most appropriate word to describe this stream. The quest for elegance is predominant and acts like a thin line that connects Every frame to the others. Tasteful pictures."

    mando.alvarez says:

"Very few people are able to establish an obvious personal and intimate relationship with their subject when shooting portraits. This is something that is absolutely necessary for a successful portrait, and the lack of this relationship can become painfully obvious with the results. When done properly, however, the results can be magical.

Zaeem has this special ability. His portraits are both inspirational and motivational for many. His work speaks for itself. Thank you, Zaeem. You are a true artist. I anxiously look forward to your new work."

    Tomas Webb says:

"One day I stumbled across some portraits. Simple shots - a girl sitting on the floor. But in them I discovered such depth that I haven't been able to shed them from my mind. I searched the stream for more portraits. Each one I stumbled across drew me in further into an obsession with the need to create beautiful portraits like the ones on my screen in front of me. It has since become my photographic driving force to create photographs that are as beautiful as a poem - so engaging that you want to read them twice (that feeling paraphrased from something Robert Frank once said).

Zaphod Beeblebrox's portraits do this to me, and it has forever changed the way I see things.

Even though I've never met you in person, I just wanted to say thanks...."

"after visiting zaeem's stream to feast on the lastest proffering of sweet, subtle tones, i popped over to his profile to make sure i'd already left him a testimonial, and i was pissed to find i hadn't. his work is SO artful and tender and simple and skilled... be it an abandoned bicycle or a lone chair, or the smiles of friends' faces, he has an uncanny ability to get at the heart of the thing. he's brilliant. completely, utterly brilliant."

    Influ3nza says:

"I only know the online Zaphod, not the real-life version. From what I can tell, though, in addition to being President of the Galaxy, Mr. Beeblebrox is multi-talented: he does mathematical things that few people can understand; he takes lovely candid portraits of his friends; he seeks out symmetry wherever he can; and he reads more than a proper mathematician should.

Zaphod also is one of the few people who still use real film. As a digital devotee myself, I regard this as charmingly anachronistic, yet it also gives him a dedication to the physical craft of photography that often goes lacking. He builds his own cameras, too!

As I said, I can't vouch for the real Zaphod, but the on-line version is a keeper in my book."
