My photographic interests center around landscape photography...especially imagery depicting early American Indian life. Currently, I am completing a body of work on Indian Cliff Dwellings and Petroglyphs. These images will culminate in a book chronicling the plight of the Navajo and their departure from Canyon De Chelly under force from Kit Carson and his ilk. I am also a car nut, so you may see a few images of cars that I have shot over time.

I own a company called jmark media. The course and scope of our work centers around sales point imagery including auction photography (cars, boats, airplanes and jewelry), fine home photography for builders, and all sorts of product photography. I have, on average, 30 people working for me in 21 states.

I have been blessed with a wonderful life here in Las Vegas, though I am a Southern Gentleman at heart having come from Texas and Louisiana. My other interests include cars, competitive target shooting, bass fishing and reading. Yes, I am a voracious reader! I am an unapologetic believer, though not a bible thumper. Those who know me say that I am a bit rough around the edges, thus evidence of my imperfection.

I love the guy - he's off-the-cuff, lighthearted and always willing to lend a helpful critique or positive note to help out a struggling photographer. Just one of those seemingly overbearing but totally soft and compassionate personalities who can inspire others.
