Self portrait is not photography.

Photography is a vision of different subjects.

Self portrait starts as vision about one and only subject. Then, since you can't fool yourself changing the subject, you need to change the vision.

Eventually Self portrait becomes many visions of the same subject.

With all its implications, side effects, avalanches.
