What Inspires Me
Abstracts
Not your typical anything...I love light, my family, friends, and finding beauty in the most unexpected places...i love, and hate life, this world, but look forward to learning something new...curiousity may kill cats, but it is what gets me out of bed every morning. I have been taking photos since I was 12, and will never give up film, although I use a digital camera for some things. My main camera is a Canon Rebel T2 with the standard lens it came with. I hope to have the money to buy more lenses in the near future, but am happy enough until then. I have a very long, and happy realtionship with Kodak films, and use Tri-x, Kodachrome, and UC films for most of what I do. I use photography as my primary means of artistic expression, and am always looking for my next photo, or series of photos. I also create abstract art, and manipulate my photos using Paintshop Pro, and Photoshop. I am self taught in their use, and use them unconventionally. I hope to one day support myself with my photography, and art. I have sold a couple of prints, and designs, and most of my friends, and family have endured getting prints as presents for the last several years. I have bipolar disorder, ADHD, and suffers bouts of severe depression, which has strongly influenced my work. I have a daughter, who is 25, and a grandson who is 3 years old, and another 3months old.
