I'm 41yrs of age, Born in England but grew up in South Africa. I now live perminantly in Finland in a small village Called Kuru, and Make a living as a Wilderness guide and photographer as well as run my own fly-fishing tours business www.freewebs.com/uivelonkierros
I also spent 4 months in Tanzania teaching wilderness & guiding skills to a group of rangers in the Serengeti and Gremeti national Parks last year.
I got into Photography by pure chance and only picked up a camera four years ago and am learning every day as we all do.Digital photography opened me up to whole new world,and as you can see by my photos, I Iike to play around with them. I just hope the images I take immerse you in the places I visit and see,just like so many other photographers do for me here on Flickr. All my images have been taken with a Sony cybershot dsc 707 which never leaves my backpack.It even went to the bottom of a lake last year and after a week of drying out is still with me through thick & thin.
Lastly I would like to thank everyone who has commented on my images since joining Flickr Whether constructive or negative.To all my contacts,firstly I wouldn't have you as contacts If I didn't like your work and secondly I am sorry If I don't comment on all of your work all the time but as you all know time is of the essence and its something I don't have a lot of here on Flickr.
