I started taking photos while living in New Mexico for more than 4 years. Hiking the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and other mountain or canyon areas of western U.S. has been awesome...the blue skies and scenery amazes me and the people share that warmth! There have been visits with friends...from Florida to Oregon, the Canadian Rockies to Alaska's wilderness. I always appreciate the regional art and culture found in small towns, villages or pueblos .
For me, photography captures wonderful memories...times, people, and places...enjoyment of family, friends, and other beautiful creation!
On this site, I hope to share a small window on the natural and supernatural beauty I see and experience.
I am now using a Lumix FZ28 digital camera, and my 35mm film and slide photos are mostly from three SLR's, including a Pentax with telephoto lens.
Discovered Flickr in May of 2005. I keep photos very close to original shot, and will mark photos that divert from original...
