I've been interested in art since childhood, starting out with pen and pencil. I drew comic strips and political cartoons for my high school and college newspapers. Throughout that time I nurtured a passion for the digital arts, using programs like Photoshop and 3D Studio Max to augment my drawings, and then to supplant them.
In 2001 I got my first digital camera (a point-and-shoot) and began to make my “Panoramosaics” and Duck portraits.
In 2004 I finally could afford a digital SLR, a Nikon D70.
When it pooped-out in 2006, I replaced it with a D70s.
I upgraded to a D80 in 2007.
