Many times you take photos that you are just taking in the moment--for no particular artistic reason or motive--and those are the shots that often are the most interesting. I mean --how many times have you looked at other people's "instamatic" photos and found one that was near perfect? Those are the photos I want to take all the time. I love looking up. And around. And sometimes down.

Flickr proves there is always more to learn from everyone else.... I really like color, post processing, real filters, and unique perspectives. If you are not making mistakes you are not learning.

I live in Western Colorado, but find all the other places I have lived -- Missoula, Denver, Seattle, Georgia, New Orleans, and Florida were pretty nice also.
