I work with language communities who usually do not have a written literature of their own. It's a fascinating work that has taken me to several parts of the world, most recently, the South Pacific and South Asia.
I enjoy taking photos of the places and people I've met along the way. I also enjoy looking at these same photos years later, reminding me of the people I met.
'yumievriwan' means 'all of us together' in Bislama, the national language of Vanuatu. I just changed my icon back to my own photo, one that my wife took.
