Hi, my name is Brandy and I am an amateur photographer by hobby. I do not claim my photos to be anywhere close to professional quality, but I do strive for the best possible photos. I use 2 different cameras in my photography--a point-and-shoot and my DSLR. My P & S is an Olympus Stylus 1010. It's awesome in low-light settings (for a P & S). The other camera I use is my Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi. This is my baby and I"m spoiled by it's photo quality. I have 4 lenses for it: the kit lens, 15-85mm 1:3.5-5.6, the "nifty fifty", a 70-300mm zoom, and a new Tamron 90mm Macro lens. I just added the Canon Speedlite 580 EX II to my toybox. :-)

I miss all of my Flickr friends! I've been MIA too long...

I keep busy with grad school--working towards my Masters degree in Community Counseling with focal hours in Student Affairs, work--Microtel--Front Desk), and maintaining my sanity. I take pictures when I can, but I don't always have the time to sit and edit and upload onto Flickr. I've started and dropped so many group projects on here--which makes me sad and frustrated since I'm the type of person who will try to follow through to the end on any projects. However, I will upload/post when I have the necessary amount of time to do so!

Please feel free to leave me constructive criticism and ideas/tips for improving my photographs! I am still a Photoshop Dummy and am trying to learn what I can (I only have Photoshop Elements and a lot of Photoshop speak is still gibberish unless it's shown to me). I will leave comments on your photos with/without criticisms, but I will always leave a compliment. I will also try hard to comment back if you leave me something!
