Retired medical librarian. Photographing since about 1976. Long-time camera club member (a great way to learn about photography!). Have taken various workshops, classes and photo tours over the years and completed New York Institute of Photography course.

After retirement, began entering juried art/photography shows along Colorado's "Front Range". Often received awards. Beginning in 2005, held one-person shows in Denver Metro Area.and, in April 2006, became an Associate at Photographers' Gallery in Denver, with work continuously on display there until it closed in late 2008.

Especially like to experiement with different photo techniques that make images unusual and cause the viewer to have to think about them. Also enjoy macro work--especially with flowers. Try to present subjects in ways not familiar to most viewers.
