I am the very definition of the words "amateur" and "hobbyist" when it comes to photography. I have always loved to take pictures, but photography has become a much bigger part of my life in the last few years. It has become my way to unwind and get outside of my own head. I am learning as I go and have definitely improved over time, but as a warning, my signal-to-noise ratio is still a little low. :)

I am 33 years old and work in higher ed. I am currently living in Texas, but am a New Hampshire native by way of North Carolina. I love Flickr and, more importantly, love the people I have met here.

However, I do make frequent and liberal use of the "block user" button. If you have nothing in your photostream, nothing on your profile, and/or your favorites and photostream are questionable, I will block you. So, you may want to consider that before adding me or favoriting any of my shots. I'm not a bitch, just protective of who and what I and my photos are associated with.
