I've loved photography since I was a child. My first camera came with a Paddington Bear and I remember running around taking 'pictures.' My childhood was full of disposable cameras, an annoyed mother tired of developing pictures of my pockets and a blooming curiosity about what makes photos beautiful.

Growing up my father shot 35mm for World of Hibernia and I was fascinated by the images that came out of his camera. I use that camera now to take all my film photos, and I love knowing that he used the camera to do exactly what I'm doing now, many years ago.

I readily admit to not enjoying taking photos of people as much as nature, architecture and animals; they have always seemed to be my forte. All black and white photos in my gallery are from my 35mm Nikon and are hand developed, hand printed and very much loved. The digital photos were also taken with a Nikon-- I have much love for Nikon!
