Born in Portsmouth Hampshire, now living in Essex, city boy to countryman.

Always keen on photography, first job darkroom tec for a well known glamour photographer, been in printing, electonics and aviation since.

Not a camera snob, its the picture, the feel, that matters.

Often get accused of ruining perfectly good photographs by 'mucking them about'.

Why do I do this, if you printout 'some' of my photographs on art texture paper and maybe mount and frame them, hang them on your wall, I hope you will understand, if not, sorry ..

I had a dodgy early life in dear old Pompey, being a Mudlark and all, not much 'formal' education, left school a 'little' early.

Always wanted to paint, no money, no time and no training, sad a'int it, now I have top class photographic equipment and all the 'stuff' but I still can't paint !

Thing is ! Would I swop all my Nikons and Hasselblad to be able to truly paint, yes I would, honest !

I do sometimes upload photos with errors - just to get feedback - if you do something wrong people will always tell you - if its always great and good not everybody bothers to comment ..
