I'm 50 years old and married to Vivi. We have two lovely children and live north of Copenhagen, Denmark.

My photographing career started 30 years ago. My first camera was a Pentax. Then I shifted to Olympus OM10, OM20 and finally ended up with Olympus OM-2n.

In 2006 I bought a Nikon D70s and some lenses. In January 2008 a Nikon D300 was added.

The worst about Flickr is the few individuals who can't really accept any criticism - they just want to add photos and receive "harmless" feedback with or without awards instead of receiving constructive suggestions for possible improvements - no harm meant or intended. We can all learn from each other - no matter how long we have been photographing and editing in Photoshop or other similar software.

I'm always looking for constructive comments. When receiving a comment I'll look into the photo stream of this person and see if their own photos have a high technical and/or creative level. This implies that I can learn something. Otherwise I pay little attention to the comment from a "technical perspective", but try to learn by listening to the viewpoint about the photo from a non-technical starting point.
