I'm attempting to become a better photographer. I've gotten lucky with a few shots a long time ago, and I'm having a lot more fun now that I've gone digital. Although most of the shots posted here - especially those from Autumn 2007 and beyond - are composed at least partially the way I'd like them, others are stabs in the dark, feeble attempts, or pure experimentation.

I always like to hear what people think about the shots, and advice for improvement is quite welcome!

I write; mostly poetry, some short fiction, the latter of which is almost always fantasy, although it is sometimes seasoned with a dash of Lovecraftian horror.

I'm a musician, a guitar god long since fallen - dropping from 14 hours of practice a day to 14 hours a year will do that to you, though.

I'm the father of three, who currently cover the teenager to pre-K age range.

I own a landscaping company that specializes in wooded properties and meadows.

I live in the woods and I plant trees.

I (self-)published my first book, a collection of mushroom and fungi photography, all taken on my property here in Lehighton. The book is purely for visual enjoyment because I'm only confident in the identification of one out of the many species that appear in its pages. (If you're a mushroom ID guru, you can help by commenting on the various pictures and providing details! =)
