My love of photography began a long time ago. I think it's safe to say that it's in my blood. I blame my father. He "exposed" it to me. Sorry, but I'm also into puns. He also did that to me. Dad shot movie newsreels for Universal Studios. So throughout my childhood, Dad would often blind me with what were then, "state of the art" camera lights.

My oldest possessions are pictures that I took as a child. As far as I can remember, I was the guy with the camera. The time I feel most alive is when I have a camera in my hands. I'm always observing light, and wondering how to best capture the feeling of any given moment.

In addition to shooting, I've have sought out formal photographic study at several institutions. Columbia College, The Chicago Photography Center, The Digital Boot Camp, to name a few. I really enjoyed sharing my perspective with others. My goal was to share with my fellow students and teachers what emotion I felt when I pressed the button.

Now with my website, I can share my pictures with the world. Well if not the entire world, at least the pictures are now exposed to you. And that's a fantastic start.
