I am so glad that I found this site!!! I guess searching the web when you are bored can be a good thing. I have only been around here since January 2007 but it is so much fun so far. There are sooo many talented and creative people here. I am just getting into photography a little more seriously and I am learning so much from this site on light, angles, etc.

Photography is a hobby but also a major source of fun and distraction. I like to take pictures of everything and anything. My favs are still animals and landscape although I think I may ask some friends to let me try my hand at portraits.
When I am not taking photos for fun, I am taking more of them for my graduate research (PhD) in geomorphology.
