I largely owe my interest in photography to my native town in south India where I spent the first 15 years of my life. Its a place blessed with green attired mountain ranges, a perennial river, tropical forests, never failing monsoon, beautiful water falls, flourishing agriculture, cordial people. Started with Nature photography but off-late, people photography appeals to me a lot as well.

Started with Canon's Elan 7 during the film era; succumbed to digital pressure in May 07 with the purchase of 30D which has now given way to 7D.
