Enthusiastic owner of Canon Rebel as of late November of 2005. Having a ball - definitely addicted to this new hobby!
Living in upper end of East Tennessee in Kingsport (Eastman Chemical Company), which is close to Johnson City (East TN State University) and Bristol (Bristol International Raceway).
Not only are folks' photos fun / interesting/ imaginative to view - many are good teaching examples. And friends made through Flickr are appreciated and an enhancement to my life! From different parts of the world even!

What you will find and what I get every time I visit her local streams and landscapes through her photos, is a sense of the beauty and and love of her homeland that she so obviously sees and shares with us. Nothing is going to blow you out of the water here (well, maybe once in a while ;)) but if you spend time with her pictures, you will feel like you have stepped out of the rush and stress of your daily life and entered a more peaceful, serene place. I have noticed the helping hand, that she does not hesitate to extend, to anyone that needs encouragement.. ( Carol has an uncanny knack of searching these out)
Carol is a bit of a quiet achiever, she won't beat her own drum so I will!
Being a Christian Carol carries the new commandment that Jesus brought to the world.

Carol has a love of children shown in her tending a flock of youngsters at her Church and also with her work in the Juvenile Courts where she lives..
To sum up the encouragement and time that Carol is prepared to extend to other people in her busy life style.
The time out that Carol takes to smell the roses as she passes as well as recording, with an innate artistic ability, those scene's of beauty with her trusty Canon.
All these factors build up to portray an individual of high ethical standards, a loving nature, a good sense of humour and most of all a natural ability to see with a photographers eyes.
